4. It is a shame that they'll be cutting these down (I'm sure they'll loose the diaries bit at the end), but this is a must see opportunity for anyone. Planet Earth is, without a peer in sight, the best nature program ever produced.

You're doing yourself a disservice if you miss any of it.

5. this series is great, it aired in the spring and autumn on BBC ONE in the UK. It had great ratings and everyone was talking about it, enjoy!

6. I second tom's endorsement! The first part of this BBC series has already aired in Canada and the second part is currently airing (Sunday nights at 7pm on the CBC). The cinematography is breathtaking and the shots they manage to capture are phenomenal. Even if you aren't a fan of nature docs, you just might be after a couple of episodes of this series.
