CBS wants to see what happens when the cool kids at Abercrombie & Fitch mingle with the computer geeks at the Apple Store Genius Bar. The show is called Genius Bar and all four major networks thought it was pretty great. After a bidding war, the idea landed at CBS. Genius Bar is being created by Josh Sternin and Jeff Ventimilia, two producers of That '70s Show.It's interesting- the idea for the show actually came from a marketing guru named Krishnan Menon, whose company is responsible for major marketing campaigns for the iPod and iMac.


1. Yes, funny premise. But I don't know if I really want the marketing person from Apple to be creating series tha just happens to feature Apple products.
I know it's a business, but can we just make believe for a few more moments that there's a wall between story and sponsor?
